Cruise Dates:
September 29–October 6, 2012 (Providence to New York City)
October 13–20, 2012 (Providence to New York City)
As summer wanes and the last of the tourists depart, the islands of Nantucket and Martha's Vineyard only become more beautiful. Discover these islands' rich histories in whaling and literature, wander through cobblestoned streets, and marvel at the remarkable architecture of a bygone era. Back on the mainland, discover the charming New England towns of Old Saybrook and Essex, and relax aboard ship as the Yorktown rounds the tip of Manhattan, past the Statue of Liberty, and up the Hudson River. Also discover Gilded Age splendor at Kykuit, the Rockefeller estate in Pocantico Hills, the Franklin D. Roosevelt Presidential Library Museum, some of the Hudson River Valley's most prominent art museums, and the grounds of the United States Military Academy at West Point.
